"HOGTOBERFEST 2009"
"It should have been called freeze our asses off fest!"
In spite of the weather being in the 30's & 40's & low 50's......
most of the crowd still partied down!
Some of the contest and bike games were not
able to happen due to the extreme weather and wet grounds!
I admit that it was hard for everyone to pull away from their warm cozy campers & fire pits (for those in tents) to come up to the stage to get in the contest at night or even to get their bikes up to the field to get involved in the bike games.
We did have a few participants in some of the stage contest.
But for the contest that didn't happen...we called for participants to come up to the back of the stage....after waiting 10 minutes with no response the DJ moved on!
We could only do the slow bike races due to the extremely wet grounds!
Thanks to all of you who entered the bike show & contest & games!
The Saturday evening band had to stop early due to frost on their instruments and the extreme cold started messing with their equipment.
DJ Big Daddy stepped right up and partied us through the night!
We all tried to work with what Mother Nature gave us!
Thank you to the bands, vendors, DJ Big Daddy
&
you
HARD CORE BIKERS
who came out to party with us and stuck it out!
PICS WILL BE UP SOON!!!
See ya'll in May....Hogfest Chick Webmaster Stephanie
